This 1963 Buick Riviera is said to have belonged to one Southern California family since new and is said to be completely rust free and a magnificent driver.?Widely regarded as an?automotive design classic, the?1963-65 Riviera?represents one of the last generations?of American cars that?stood second to none on the world stage. This example appears to be a near perfect driver, with enough restoration done?to make it a turn-key beauty, yet not so original or over-restored to be stashed in a collection. According to the seller, the Riviera is rust free and shows no signs of being in a serious accident. It has been re-painted once, but in the original ?Granada Red? color which makes for a nice alternative to the usual shades found on 1963-65?Rivieras. The chrome is said to be in very good condition, as are the original spinner hubcaps. The weather stripping and seals are all said to be new.

The interior is said to be in very good condition overall. The seller adds that seats have been re-upholstered in factory spec. leather and are flawless. The dash appears to be in very good condition, and has to be one of the attractive dashes ever put in an automobile. At the very least, it certainly outshines anything GM would build?in the following three?decades.

The?Buick 401 V8?was replaced in the 1980s with one from a?1966 Riviera, though it still retains?the original cylinder heads. The transmission was also rebuilt, and the seller adds that the car comes with records dating back to 1963. The car is described as being magnificent to drive, with smooth shifts,?plenty of power, and?no oil leaks or overheating issues.

It is hard to argue with a 1963-65 Riviera as a classic. Stylish, beautiful, and widely regarded as a design success, it?s also comfortable without being a floating behemoth, and more than?quick enough to keep up with modern traffic. While no concours car, this example appears to be a very nice turn-key driver that should be used and enjoyed.

Two-way communication between a close relative and a teacher creates room to share more and both parties can tell their feelings, fears, hopes and also ways to help this child move forward.

Celebrating the children achievements is a very good way to keep the bond alive. You can create portfolios or even scrap books containing the children?s achievements. The guardians can visit the classrooms on school events and get to see their children?s work and achievements. This elicits excitement and more concern from the guardians.

As much as dad/ mom participation is concerned, one must take into account that they have work and schedules to meet. Joy Williams of The Civil Wars has baby boy

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) ? It's a boy for Joy Williams of The Civil Wars.

Miles Alexander was born Saturday in the Music City. It's the first child for Williams and her husband Nate Yetton, the duo's manager. A statement says mama and son are happy and healthy.

Williams and her musical partner John Paul White officially went on maternity leave after a performance at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival earlier this month. The Grammy Award-winning duo plans to begin recording the follow-up to their surprise hit "Barton Hollow" during the hiatus.

Williams says she "never really knew the meaning of love at first sight until today."

Washington state: Please cook your oysters

SEATTLE -- With the July 4 holiday coming up, the Department of Health would like to remind Washingtonians to thoroughly cook their oysters.

The department says that cooking shellfish until the shells open is not enough for kill harmful bacteria.

Summer's warmer temperatures mean that levels of the bacteria Vibrio parahaemolyticus increase in state waters. Eating an oyster with the Vibrio bacteria can lead to diarrhea, stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, headache, fever, and chills. It says that symptoms usually appear within 12-24 hours after eating infected shellfish and usually last from two to seven days.

The department recommends oysters should be cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees for at least 15 seconds to thoroughly kill the bacteria.

If you liked 1980s and early 1990s RPGs or early Final Fantasy games, you'll love Symphony of Eternity ($2.99). There's a clear plot: Two adventurers meet the princess of a fallen kingdom, and all three go hunting for a mythical wish-granting weapon to set everything right.?

Graphics are very simple, with three scales: a very zoomed-out world map, a very 1980s-style town layout, and combat sequences with larger monsters. Combat, as in all the Kemco games I've played, is turn-based, although there's an "auto-fight" button to get you through more tedious battles. You can control the characters through an on-screen control pad or, alternately, a simple "click to go here" touch interface.

Unlike in other Kemco games (this is critical), in Symphony, you can see all the wandering monsters on the map, so you can ambush or avoid them. This is a heck of a lot better than in other games where random encounters appear out of nowhere. Character advancement is also just complex enough to be fun. Characters gain various skills through different class-based "tablets," which contain lists of skills and spells you acquire by winning experience points. You can also add and subtract merit points from various abilities at will. While you can't always pick your party, you can pick your tablet- and merit-point combinations, and that keeps things fresh.

Yes, I know I'm giving an Editors' Choice to a year-old game, but it's the best Android RPG I've seen so far.?Both my kid and I enjoyed Symphony of Eternity immensely, and I'd recommend it to anyone who loves old-school fantasy gaming. I can't wait for the sequel, Symphony of the Origin, due out later this year.
