Applications are invited from sports clubs/sporting organisations which have as their central focus increasing participation in sport and physical activity in County Sligo.
Grant aid is available under the following headings:
(A)?Special Project Participation Initiatives
Assistance is available to sports clubs/sporting organisations in respect of projects that target specific groups, currently with low?participation rates, to promote increased participation in sport and?physical activity.
(B)?Coach Education
Assistance is available to sports clubs/sporting organisations in respect of participation in approved Coach Education courses.
The Scheme will?not fund:
Ongoing running costs or projects of a capital nature
