Facts Of Life Actress Lisa Whelchel Joins Survivor!

The upcoming season of Survivor is going to have a familiar face, actress Lisa Whelchel. That is right The Facts Of Life star is going to see if she can Outwit, Outplay and Outlast on the hit CBS show. It was revealed today that the former 80?s child star was chosen to battle it out in the Philippines when Survivor returns in just a couple of weeks. The 49-year old will be competing against a former Major League Baseball player, former Miss Delaware, a sex therapist, track coach, seminary student and three returning players, just to name a few, to brave some brutal conditions as they all fight to become the Sole Survivor. Oh and of course they are all fighting for the coveted $1million cash prize. Since her time on the hit 80?s show Lisa has been raising three children out of the Hollywood spotlight. She has also become known for her writing skills over the years, she is a prominent Christian author.
